nujumi Worse's sense for timbre was well established in his spoken word performances, thst are a joyous exploration of indirect linguistic expressions. Whilst this new work is entirely percussion I find it impossible not to make the association between the sonic structures of this and his poetic work; both show a deep feeling for texture and pace and an ability of flow. it neither feels like free improvisation or structured composition, but a writhing new language of expression for Worse. Favorite track: spiny palms.
